BOBBY IS A LEADER IN TEAM CULTURE & CONNECTION

Bobby works with organizations that want to create a culture of connection in the workplace. We help companies create a vibrant company culture in which every employee feels connected wherever they are. From keynotes at national conferences to smaller team building facilitation, our programs are perfect for your next meeting, conference or corporate event.

Creating a Culture of Connection in the Workplace: We truly are Better Together

Each of us has a tremendously deep desire to feel significant. We want to have a level of belonging, connection, and meaningful contribution to whatever space we are in. These are some of the basic needs of being human. Do you want to change the connections of you and your team? Begin with taking the time to truly understand your team. When we know each other better, we are better able to cultivate feelings of belonging, connection, contribution and significance in the workplace. In order to understand your colleagues, you must first know your colleagues.

Additionally, when we connect each of us has an energy about us. Energy is not about being loud and excited and jumping around with high fives, it is about the attitude we intentionally bring to our environment and the people in our lives. It is about creating a space for others to thrive, create and contribute in a meaningful way. This interactive session will help you define energy as it pertains to how you show up in the world, give you the tools for building stronger relationships and influence, and give yourself permission to impact the world around you personally and professionally.

Attendees walk away with actionable steps that can be implemented immediately to:

  • Create genuine deeper connections in the workplace.
  • Intentionally invest in work, family and social relationships.
  • Create work/life boundaries allowing you to be at your best in all aspects of life.

The 50 Cups of Coffee Challenge

From his first job to his first business, Bobby has gained so much from sharing great conversations with incredible people over a cup of coffee. Imagine the impact having one conversation each week with someone new would have on your life? Your current network consists of your mentees, your mentors and your meant-to-hang with friends. Sharing a conversation over a cup of coffee with a new person each week for one year will help you mentor those chasing you, connect with those in line with you, and learn from those ahead of you. As a professional, that cup of coffee might lead to your next sale, next job or perhaps your first business. Simply by grabbing coffee Bobby found the mentor who helped him quit his full-time job and start his first successful business. Simply by grabbing coffee Bobby has developed frientorship relationships with Super Bowl Champions, MLB coaches, Fortune 500 Executives and successful entrepreneurs. Each of which has led to business growth. In fact, simply by grabbing coffee is how Bobby found himself owning a summer camp! That is a great story you will not want to miss.

Bobby first shared this challenge on the TEDx stage in 2016. The 50 Cups of Coffee Challenge has been implemented by professionals at high performance organizations including Marriott International, M&T Bank and the UNC Tar Heels. In this presentation you will learn how to complete this challenge with powerful results.

Topics Covered will include:

  • How to overcome your fear of rejection when networking.
  • How to cultivate genuine deeper connections.
  • How to ensure your energy bucket is filled to give you the personal power to complete this challenge when life throws you the unexpected.

The Choice: You have a choice about how you respond, react and show up

Each of us has a CHOICE. A choice about how we will respond to a challenge or a change. A choice about how we will react to a colleague. A choice about the attitude we will bring to any space we enter. In a career of constant change, shifting responsibilities, and sometimes overwhelming demands happening at the same time as our every day life responsibilities, it is important to be conscious of the choices you are making about how you show up. It is important to be intentional about the energy you give and receive from the world around you. Each of us has an energy about us in the workplace. And energy is not about being loud and excited and jumping around with high fives, it is about the attitude we intentionally bring to our environment and the people in our lives. It is about creating a space for others to thrive, create and contribute in a meaningful way. This interactive session will help you define energy as it pertains to how you show up in the workplace, give you the tools for choosing a positive attitude in the midst of constant change and overwhelming demands, and it will teach you how to maintain this positive energy throughout the year.

Attendees walk away with actionable steps that can be implemented immediately to:

  • Learn The Choice and to use it to your advantage.
  • Learn tools to intentionally invest in better work, family and social relationships.
  • Learn the ‘Theory of Margins’ and how understanding it will help you take on additional responsibilities with a solution-oriented attitude. Positivity is not the denial of problems, it is the acknowledgment that I can be part of the solution in a positive way.
